What’s Up with Teens 2.0

An In-Person Workshop for Parents & Caregivers Oh, the teen years… The mood swings, the eye rolls, the sudden tears — and that’s just us as parents! Join us for a one-day, in-person workshop designed to support you through the exciting, challenging, and sometimes overwhelming stage of parenting teens. Grounded in the insights from Psychology Canada’s Straight Talk About Teens, this session will help you better understand and connect with the growing adolescent in your life. What we’ll explore together: The teen brain – why they think and feel the way they do What really matters to teens How to keep a positive, connected relationship Effective ways to communicate (even during tough moments) Managing risky behaviors Fair and respectful discipline that works Whether you’re already parenting or caring for a teen or preparing for the years ahead, you’ll leave with practical tools, new perspectives, and maybe even a sense of relief—you’re not in this alone. Bonus: Lunch is included! Format: In person. 5-hour workshop
